Product Overview
The HDX is designed to fire .68 caliber pepper, powder, or rubber projectiles at velocities of up to 530 feet per second, generating up to 40 joules of force. The launcher has an effective range of up to 60 feet, providing extended reach in defensive situations.
The internal magazine holds up to 16 rounds and uses a pump-action operating system that allows for multiple follow-up shots. This system enables continued operation while maintaining user control.
CO2 Power System
The HDX is powered by two 12-gram non-threaded CO2 cartridges housed in a quick-piercing system. This system allows the launcher to be stored without constant pressure on the valve seals and activated instantly with a firm strike.
For extended use, the HDX can also be powered by a single 88-gram screw-in CO2 cartridge, providing additional flexibility.
Sighting System
The HDX features a ghost ring-type rear sight paired with a high-visibility fiber optic front blade, designed to assist with target acquisition, including in low-light conditions.
Ammunition & Training Support
Included with the HDX are P2P Core Defense Pepper Rounds, designed to deliver an irritant payload upon impact. The package also includes rubber rounds intended for training and practice.
Practicing with rubber or powder rounds allows users to train in loading, aiming, and firing without deploying active irritants. Core Defense inert power rounds are available separately.
